Chief Operating Officer

About the Role 

We are looking for a high calibre and commercially minded Chief Operating Officer where you will have a great deal of influence in positively impacting our clients' overall business, by guiding, mentoring & advising your operations team to deliver world-class customer service delivery and experience.

Candidate Profile

As COO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, implementing the business strategy, and leading initiatives to optimise operational gearing.

What we are looking for:
➢ Commercially astute and experience of working at COO or senior Operations leadership level ideally within the Telecoms/Communications sector.
➢ Track record of delivering large and complex transformation projects/programmes both to drive internal transformation and to deliver customer technology projects.
➢ Experience of creating high performing teams and realising operational efficiencies whilst maximising revenue and delivering excellent customer service.
➢ Experience in all aspects of providing Project Management, Professional Services and Managed Services for high value contracts.
➢ Strong people manager and leader of large teams with a measurable track record of creating successful teams within service delivery, with key achievements in transformation, improvement and change management.
➢ Experienced in ITIL v4, Dev Ops, Prince/IPM - with an ability to understand frameworks and translate them to workable/real life processes and best practice.

Role location: Hybrid working in the UK - It would be beneficial for the successful candidate to be located in the North West of England or Midlands region.
