When was Aruba Exec established?

Aruba was established in 2009 by Richard Crossman, with the primary focus of creating an executive search practice that delivers a personal, boutique service to clients globally, through an agile, innovative & technology driven Executive Talent Acquisition & Retention (ETAR™) System. This has allowed us to achieve a 99%+ success record in the delivery of CxO, VP & Director level roles, de-risking the investment for our technology clients in executive search.

We recruit for C-Suite, VP & Director level roles across all business functions. Example roles are CEOs, CFOs, Sales VP, CDOs, COOs, CGOs, CTOs, CIOs. Our clients are typically high growth Technology companies OR companies who, whilst maybe in a different sector, have technology at the core of their business/product/service.

We also attract talent from outside these areas as candidates have diverse skillsets which can be transferable in many cases.

How long does a typical executive search take?

Our approach takes on average 6 weeks to deliver the candidate shortlist. We typically start with a few thousand candidates and deliver a shortlist of 3-5 candidates.

We are the only Executive Search company in London who use inbound digital strategies that focus on passive candidates. That’s why we have access to world class C-Suite Executive, VP & Director level candidates. No-one else does this. We offer candidates who are not looking in the marketplace but are the most prestigious, plus not forgetting active candidates in our Whole Market, ‘No Stone Unturned’ explore for each search.

What size companies do you focus on?

Around 90% of our client portfolio are scale-up and SME sized tech focused organisations who are typically UK, Europe or US based. 

Most of our clients are fast-moving and agile and have entrepreneurial environments, moving at pace to grow and scale-up.

What are your fees?

We have completed a time and motion study on our executive search services to come up with a competitive fee structure.

What guarantees do Aruba offer?

We provide a 1 year guarantee from the start date of the candidate. If the candidate were to leave in their first 12 months of tenure then we would re-run the search for free.
