We are currently retained on an exciting leadership opportunity for a Chief People Officer for our global client, headquartered in London. With a turnover of £13m, currently operating in 7 countries, with 300+ employees, they are a SaaS / Technology company with strong growth plans.

About the Role 

This is a strategic role where you will have a great deal of influence in shaping the People function within the business.

You will be establishing and building a company-wide Human Resources function with strategies & initiatives to successfully deliver the global growth plans. You will be building and continuously developing the high performing culture of the company, directly impacting the ongoing success of this innovative business.

This will be the first CPO hire within our client’s organisation since its inception. They have previously operated using an external HR Consultant model to create the foundation and support required from an HR perspective.

Having recently appointed a Chief Marketing Officer and a Chief Growth Officer to their leadership team, they now seek to appoint a high calibre and commercially minded Chief People Officer to lead their culture and people agenda across the business.

Supporting the CEO, Chief of Staff and wider leadership team, this is a strategic role where you will have a great deal of influence in shaping the People function within the business. To date, there has been no company-wide internal HR function.

This is truly an exciting time to influence the trajectory of my client, where the business is focused on global growth and enhancing the benefit of their products and services, and they recognise that it is their people that are key in delivering this goal.

Candidate Profile

A strong track record of working as an HR Director, Chief People Officer or Head of HR in a scale up SaaS / Technology business.

You are a positive, high-energy, innovator by nature and thrive in challenging situations.

Experience of working internationally and demonstrating an appreciation for differences in culture.

You will be a business savvy internal ambassador who drives a positively engaged and high performing community.

A proven track record in successfully delivering HR Strategies to deliver high commercial outcomes through successful people initiatives.

Devise, build and implement a compliant process driven HR Department and overarching People Agenda that enables and facilitates success within a flat structure, high growth environment.

Build an excellent employer brand and incredible working culture to attract high performing talent.

Fully support and educate the senior leadership team with all People, Culture and Development matters.

Bridge the gap between employer and employee and be a motivational force, focusing on the culture of my client and how that can best serve its people.

Leading the design of the organisation to improve employee engagement, retention and build a meaningful culture that drives innovation, customer service and employee behaviour.

Create the People Strategy for the company to deliver on people process improvements and projects.

Lead all global people processes including performance review process, salary review, bonus design, planning and communication, and talent management.
