A slightly different proposition outside of our niche of Technology.

We are currently working with a Start-Up civil engineering company who have been developing a solution over the last 5 years which is now ready to take nationally and internationally, having secured patents in 13 countries with more to follow.

Their product can be used for a multitude of purposes such as flood defences & water storage, plus for groundworks such as retaining walls and prevention of landslips.

It's certainly an exciting time, as they are currently going through their next funding round and looking to onboard a new CEO to take the business forward.

Early conservative estimates on the pre-money valuation of the business currently puts it at £500m, given the solutions it can add to water storage and flood defences in environments needing effective solutions in these areas, across the world.

Ideal Chief Executive Officer Profile:

Must have previous experience operating as an MD or CEO of a civil engineering & infrastructure business, or portfolio of businesses, along with a strong network in these areas.
Strong Experience of successfully taking Start-Up sized organisations through Scaling-Up and growth phases on a global basis.
Experience working with PE & VC Investors.
A number of years’ experience at Executive Management level.
External market focus; entrepreneurial, agile, new/novel approaches to penetrate markets and to operating the business.
A proven ability to translate strategy into sound operational plans.
A track record of delivery within an organisation demonstrating effective customer focus and strong performance management.
Well-developed people management skills and a passion for delivering success through staff.
An individual of stand-out calibre who is highly credible and commercial; an effective senior level operator with a bias for action and a can-do approach.
Creates opportunities for growth and generating value by leveraging customer, brand, and market insights.
Strong Financial Acumen.

Education

Ideally candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent.
